What to expect when staying at the church
FOOD
When you attend a workshop at the church we provide a simple lunch. This consists of sandwiches or pizza and salad. Chips and snacks are available if you get peckish before we break for dinner. You're responsible for dinner. There are two local places to get food in Chester. Chester has truck stop or bar (fried) food. We will also travel over to another local town, or sometimes, Rochester for dinner, if enough people want to go. You are also welcome to bring your own food. We have a refrigerator available, if you have special dietary needs.
LODGING
When we have workshops at the Church in Chester, Iowa your lodging at the church is included in your enrollment. Sleeping quarters are "summer camp" style. The choir loft in the church has beds for 4-6 guests. The cry room can accommodate a couple and the brides room is a single. Each bed comes with freshly laundered sheets and a pillow but you are welcome to bring your own if you are allergic to the fresh scent of "Gain". We also have other more secluded quarters on the property for those of you that can snore up a storm. For those attendees that would like to be close, but not that close, there is also Sweet's Hotel in LeRoy, Minnesota (8 miles way) if you'd like to book your own space during the workshop at your own expense. http://www.sweetshotel.com
